Clinical Experience

Our busy clinical service provides extensive hands-on experience with therapeutic clinics and advanced equipment including PET/CT, PET/MRI, SPECT/CT.

Trainees have the opportunity to expand knowledge of anatomic imaging through concurrent interpretation of diagnostic CT and MRI components of many PET examinations.

  3. PET/CT and PET/MRI
  4. Therapeutic applications of radioisotopes 

Therapeutic and Imaging Agents 

  • Comprehensive experience with FDA-approved therapeutic and imaging agents
  • Exposure to a wide range of investigational radiopharmaceuticals for both therapy and imaging 

Research and Service Opportunities 

  • Participate in faculty-led research projects
  • Engage in educational projects for medical students, residents, and fellows

Educational Conferences 

  • Weekly 2-hour sessions covering:
    • Physics
    • Instrumentation
    • Radiopharmaceuticals
    • Clinical practice
  • Optional attendance at daily diagnostic radiology resident lectures
  • Interdisciplinary conferences, including various tumor boards
  • Monthly Quality Assurance and Interesting Case conferences led by fellows 

Additional Training Opportunities 

  • Dedicated time in the cardiac stress lab and hot lab
