Biography

I’m a PhD-trained scientist and ASA-accredited statistician with over 20 years of experience leading federally funded research at UCSF. My work centers on musculoskeletal imaging, predictive modeling, and clinical study design, with a focus on applying advanced statistical and machine learning methods to improve patient outcomes. As Co-Director of UCSF’s Clinical & Translational Musculoskeletal Imaging group, I lead interdisciplinary teams, guide NIH-funded studies, and mentor the next generation of researchers. I’m deeply committed to turning complex data into actionable insights and to research that translates directly to care.
