Will Byrne

Will Byrne is a Staff Scientist Assistant in the UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, where he supports translational research in advanced imaging and radiochemistry. His work focuses on developing and optimizing molecular imaging techniques used to study cancer metabolism and neurological disorders. Will collaborates with faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and imaging technologists to facilitate data collection, image processing, and workflow coordination for preclinical and clinical imaging studies. He is particularly interested in applying imaging science to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment monitoring in precision medicine.
